Why We Do What We Do
Simply-Worship matters because we believe that God wants us to know how He truly feels about us. He wants to be with us even more than we want to be with Him. He longs for us to encounter Him in ways that transform how we live our lives. This is why we do what we do. Everything we do is to create a place where authentic encounters occur... because information does not bring transformation, it comes only when you experience it!
Simply-Worship is about spiritual growth, maturity, discipleship, inner healing and wholeness. It is about the sound of one’s life: a life lived in a response of true worship to a radical revelation of and personal encounter with the transforming love of God and the heart of the Father.
Simply-Worship exists to help the Bride of Christ, the Church, become healthy and whole; creating spaces for profound encounter with the heart of the Father, the Presence of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit that transform the way she lives into a response of true worship. John 4:23, “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth.” (Msg)
How We Do This...
Worship is our highest calling. Worship is more than a song. Worship is our response to Who God is, what He has done and what He will do. Worship is a power tool, not a hand tool. It can change the atmosphere. Simply Worship is a Presence driven ministry. What we mean by that is that wherever we go, whatever we do, we are not only aware of His Presence, but also aware of the fact that we, as His children, are called to carry His Presence to those around us. We create an atmosphere for His Presence. As His Presence is manifested, we make His Presence welcome, for with His Presence comes His power. It is time spent in His Presence that changes us more into His likeness for we become like the One we worship. Everything we do is bathed in worship.
Mentoring and Discipleship
Mentoring and discipleship include modeling, teaching and imparting not only practical life and ministry skills but also godly, biblical values. This is often accomplished through:
1. Dash-Away Weekends: These unique weekends focus on worship and wholeness and provide an opportunity to intentionally welcome the presence of God and to have a radical encounter with His heart. They include an atmosphere saturated with worship, practical tools to help you connect with Jesus, and an opportunity to rest and build relationships. The result is a heart forever changed, captivated by His great love, walking in more freedom and wholeness into the destiny for which you were created.
2. Encounter Days: These days are for both men and women and encapsulate the main components of a full weekend event listed above into a 9-hour event.
3. Personal and small group coaching: Simply-Worship invests personally in those who seek to pursue inner healing and wholeness, as well as embrace the deeper places of his or her true identity, craft and calling. Individual and small group coaching focuses primarily on worship leaders, other creatives and women, but is not exclusive to these groups, depending on the setting and circumstances, where and when appropriate.
3. Personal Prayer Ministry: All of the team members at Simply-Worship are trained and skilled in a variety of inner healing prayer ministry modalities. We believe that Jesus wants to heal us not just from our current struggles, but also from the root causes of those struggles. We are honored to help connect the individuals with whom we minister to the One, Jesus, who saves, heals and delivers us into true freedom.
