What is a Dash Away Weekend?
Dash Away Weekends are unique, intimate weekends away for women that are focused on worship, fellowship, fun and refreshing. It is not a conference. In fact, the only agenda is to create space where you can encounter the heart of the Father and experience healing and renewal in your life.
There will be no lectures. You will not spend long hours sitting in uncomfortable chairs. You will not be held to a rigid schedule. Rather, you will experience a restful time in God's presence, enjoy intimate times of worship in song and receive practical tools to help you as you move forward in your relationship with Jesus.
***NOTE: Dash Away Weekends are not "first line pastoral care" meant for intense inner healing. Rather, they are spiritual growth weekends designed for those who wish to go deeper in intimacy with Jesus, allowing Him to reveal and heal things that are keeping them from fully realizing their destinies as beloved daughters and carriers of His Presence here on earth.
What can I Expect During the Weekend?
The weekend is very casual and loosely structured. Comfortable clothes are appropriate. We begin on Friday evening after dinner (which will be on your own before you arrive). The evening is fun and relaxed as we get to know each other and settle into what God has for each of us. We have intimate and powerful times of worship throughout the weekend and also provide opportunities for personal prayer ministry for those who may desire it. There is also time to simply relax either with your friends, or on your own with Jesus. Dash Away’s are always “pressure free!” They are always unique and they are always powerfully life changing.
What's all this about the "dash?"
The dash falls between the day you’re born and the day you die. It represents who you are and how you live your life. This is what counts before God as our truest act of worship. It’s not about the songs sung on a Sunday morning. It’s not even necessarily found in a song. Dash-Away Weekends are an opportunity to allow God to work on the dash that is your life and bring you to places of greater wholeness and deeper worship.
